Purchase dollar coins directly from the United States Mint. Banks are facing very high credit card portfolio losses, while the U.S. Mint is looking to increase circulation of it's dollar coin.
In theory one could purchase coins from the US Mint on their credit card, and then not pay their credit card.
The banks don't want you to know this.
